  Evidence-informed practice remains the cornerstone of contemporary physiotherapy, and its continued advancement depends on rigorous inquiry and the open exchange of knowledge. It is in this spirit that the MGR Journal of Physiotherapy and Advanced Research (MGRJPAR) presents its inaugural issue (Vol. 1, No. 1, January–March 2026). The articles in this issue offer original research, reviews and clinical insights that reflect current evidence and address questions of direct relevance to practice. Guided by Editor-in-Chief Dr. C. V. Senthil Nathan and published by, Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute, the journal seeks to connect researchers, clinicians, educators and students in a shared goal: translating scientific evidence into better care, stronger professional practice and improved quality of life for patients.
